The 4th IPBA East Asia Regional Forum was held on Thursday 8 November in Seoul, Korea. This event was held by the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) in conjunction with the Korean Bar Association.
The event started with a welcome from Mr. Hyun Kim, President of the Korean Bar Association. Session 1 was a roundtable discussion about the current trends in cryptocurrency and blockchain-related issues. Session 2 was a roundtable discussion about the key developments in the legal sector in the ASEAN+6 region and cross border transactions under ASEAN+6 laws. This discussion was moderated by the ASEAN+6 Program Director, Mr. Raphael Tay. Closing remarks was given by Mr. Jihn U Rhi, IPBA Korea Jurisdictional Council Member.
