Greetings from the IPBA Publications Committee!

In the September 2014 issue of the IPBA Journal, the Publications Committee will present an interview with Geoffrey Ma, Chief Justice of the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal, which was conducted by past Publications Committee Chair Caroline Berube. During the interview, Justice Ma shared his views on the public's main concern regarding the laws in Hong Kong and the independency issue of the Hong Kong Judiciary. He also provided educational information concerning the power of the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal, judge appointment, as well as the enforcement of a forieng judgment in Hong Kong.

In addition, the September issue will include various legal updates contributed by our colleagues from Japan, India, China, France, and the US, which we believe will be informative and inspiring.
